What Is Crosswordle?

Crosswordle is a word logic game that blends the letter deduction of Wordle® with the interlocking grid style of a crossword puzzle. Instead of typing in words from clues, you start with a full grid of jumbled letters and swap them strategically until every letter turns green, meaning it’s in the correct position.

Each grid has a limited number of swaps:

• 7×7 puzzles allow up to 16 swaps
• 9×9 puzzles allow up to 23 swaps

Your goal is to turn the whole board green before running out of moves. Green letters are already correct, yellow letters belong in that row or column but are misplaced, and grey letters are completely wrong.

You can play Crosswordle for free at crosswordle.com, which offers two modes:

• Daily Mode: A new puzzle appears every day. Lose, and you’ll have to wait for the next day’s challenge. Win, and you’ll extend your streak and earn stars based on the swaps you have left.
• Unlimited Mode: Practice as much as you like with endless new boards. There’s no streak, just a chance to master your deduction and swapping strategy.
